Teal tidbits: Shannon Miller

In the past, we’ve told you about some famous folks who have been personally affected by ovarian cancer. Today, in light of the upcoming Olympics, it seemed like a good time to focus on one of those individuals: Olympic gold-medalist Shannon Miller. Shannon was diagnosed in 2011. She documented her experience on her blog and has dedicated herself to helping others dealing with cancer. Shannon is definitely an inspiration.

    Thanks for sharing this! I had no idea Shannon Miller had OC. I’ll put her book on my reading list.
